I have a factory remote start and I have a quiet start option. Does anyone know what this is.

Thanks

Wasn't there a movie where they had a helicopter that has "shush" mode that made it quieter so they could sneak up on the criminals? Maybe its something like that...

Im in the same boat as you OP, it does not state what that means nowhere in the manual.

I would try to switch it back and forward, but i assumed it means headlights will be off if it's dark and you have the headlights in auto mode, the gauges will be blackout and appear to be off and the radio will also be off.

I have not tried it.

I believe in quiet mode the horn doesn't honk then hit the remote start button.

On my 2010 edge with the factory remote start, the horn honks once to agknowledge the command for remote start.

Yeah my truck makes no noise at all when remote starts the engine (except engine noise...lol) and I think the quiet feature is built in and not another mode.

Sweet, there were rumors going around before we got our first CV-22s that it had a quiet mode, YEAH RIGHT, you can hear that thing coming from miles away.

Those are accurate movies, but the one I was thinking of was a comedy. The helicopter actually made a "shush" noise when it was running. Maybe one of the original Get Smart movies?
