2011 Ford F-150 5.0 best exhaust systems?
I have a 2011 Ford F-150 5.0 and I am looking for an exhaust to put on my truck. I can’t decide between buying a catback exhaust or have a muffler shop build me one.

I like Roush exhaust as seen in this video, plus it's the best comparison video for exhausts that I've ever seen:
Borla makes a good one too, either Atak or the S-type which is a little more mild.

Forget all the full exhaust systems that can cost well over $1500 installed just buy a $100 Magnaflow 12279 stainless muffler and have a shop weld it in for another $75 and then thank me after.

I had a Roush on my 6.2, I nicknames it Drone Master. Put a trailer behind it and forget about holding a conversation or listening to the radio below 75% volume in the truck.
I have A Borla Touring system on it now that sounds awesome under throttle and can hardly hear it without a load on it. Win Win Win.

Roush certainly knows Mustangs though.

I have a Borla XR-1 on my 2017 5.0 (muffler swap only, resonator intact) and my son has a Borla ATAK (muffler swap, resonator intact) on his 2013 5.0 and as mentioned, no drone. Quiet at cruising speeds, it just gets loud at hard acceleration. See my build thread in my signature for 3 sound clips. The XR-1 is deeper and not as loud as the ATAK, and the ATAK is more raspy.
