I hope you have it in writing that it was an oil filter problem all along. Driving the truck with a bad oil filter could have very well damaged your engine.
Keep good documentation on every little thing that goes on with your truck's engine...at least for a few months.
It doesn't necessarily mean that it's Ford's fault, or the dealership's fault for that matter (although they should be competent enough to have fixed that problem). But regardless of who's fault it is....it was their product and their service that caused the problem so they should stand by it and any damage that it may cause. JMO

So the same oil filter was on for over a year? You stated the problem started over a year ago. Seems like to me it something more than a filter. How many times has the oil been changed during this year? Who changed it?
