Hey let me say that I am a proud owner of a 2011 f150 xlt. This vehicle first belonged to my grandpaw, who is a retired hourly ford motor company. The truck has no what I call mechanical issues, its all in these computers. Back starting a few months ago, my service advancetrac light would come on. when the light came on theturrn signals would no longer work. but it would usually stop and i could never get it to stay that way for me to take it to the dealere. well today it did it again and i tok it to the dealer. they run tests and come up with this. steering gear and turn signal switch will have to be replaced. that will be about 1600 dollars. i called fomoco corporate about gettng them to cover this entirely(im not going to poay for this because its their factory issue).anyway i remain a loyal fomoco because we are a ford family, however i did not expect this sort of issue on a vehicle with only 10k miles.
