2011 4x4 issue
So here's my issue:
I live on a hill and I was driving up that hill in snowy conditions. I was in 2wd until I started to slip. I stopped, turned to 4wd Hi and began to take off. The tires began to spin and from the drivers side I heard a grinding sound. (That of gears not meshing?) But my 4wd did not lock in as I was still spinning in the slush and snow. My question is what is the issue? Could it be the transfer case even though the truck is attempting to lock in the HUBS? Or is it in the IWE vacuum hubs? Any thoughts let me know, also any way to help me narrow down a diagnosis so I done just start replacing parts for no read, let me know.
