Eventually I want to go up from 275/70 to 295/70 w minor trimming. 3.7 v6 2wd. 2.5 level w helper springs in back. And I haul a lot in this truck. It gets the job done.

wood.bed loaded down and trailer full. Probably too much weight for the truck but I put it in tow/haul and it goes. in the summer a good many pallets of sod, full of gravel etc. the helper springs helped a lot with a light duty truck

do you have to rev that 3.7 up high to take off with all that weight behind it?

absolutely! Rev the **** out of it. 3.7 has no torque. 3.73 gears but the 3.7 never liked being in 6th gear even before tires

The lack of low end torque is the reason I will not use a much larger tire on my '11 XL (3.73). It will downshift to fifth if I am hitting an overpass at ~40 MPH (~1200 RPM) when empty. On average the driveability is better than I expected.
Good looking truck,
Brad

i know, they have **** poor torque numbers. they have less torque than my 4.6. the 3.7 makes good horsepower but not enough torque for pulling
