The dealer tells me the mic is in the mirror and alot of threads also state the same thing. Then what is the 'mic' looking thing in the overhead ceiling of my truck. Also, there doesn't seem to be any 'mic' holes on the mirror...see attachments below.

I was wanting the rear backup camera installed and the dealer said he could do it, but I would lose my sync mic. I think he is thinking of earlier trucks and doesn't really know how his product is evolving.
