2010 regular cab long bed needs a frame swap due to rust.
I have 85000 miles.
great mint truck, new coilovers, brake lines. The truck sat over damp ground I guess and the frame is bad.
I guess I need to find a shop next that'll do the swap.
I found a frame.
It seems that 2 mechanics can do it in 2 days.

Any input or links to existing threads would help.

unless money isn’t an object in this, I can’t see how this will be worth it. Especially on a regular cab. Maybe if you can find someone who will work on a fixed bid ? Just seems like ‘something’ always seems to come up in a big project and costs could easily/quickly spiral.

on the other hand, there is no shortage of trucks from that gen that have blown engines, so selling engine/tranny/mint bed would likely be easy. And/or easy to find a nice donor truck and then just swap in your engine/trans and sell/scrap the leftovers.

is this a 5.4?

iive never seen a completely rusted frame under a otherwise mint truck. Can you post some pics ?
