I have the 2009 Super Crew XLT. One time in the summer when it was fairly warm out, I went to start it and it made an awful cranking noise. I stopped quickly and gave it a min. I tried again and it acted like nothing had happened. I thought maybe it was a fluke. It happened again the other day when it was freezing out. I had come out of the store, so it had been running and was warmed up and that terrible noise came back. I gave it another minute and once again, it was like nothing happened. I'm worried one of these times its going to not start and strand me somewhere. Any thoughts before I go spend a fortune at the dealer for them to have them tell me its fine?? Thanks!
