Default 2008 won't start

I'm new here and I'm sitting at my ford dealers typing this on my ipad. I drove my f150 about 20 miles today and shut it off. I went to start it about ten minutes later and all i got was a clicking sound. I got it jumped and made it here and they are saying the batteryis good. The truck has 6400 miles on it. I feel like im stuck with a vehicle that will get me stranded whenever i go somewhere. The tow driver said he thought it was the battery. Anybody else have this happen?

I had the same thing happen to me the other day. I took my truck to Autozone to test the battery and alternator, they informed me that both of them were good. I still was still curious as to why? I made a trip to a ford dealership and explained to them what had happened and they informed me that the weather could have played a factor in my truck not starting due to the cold weather conditions that our area experienced that day. I haven't had any problems as of right now but carry a set of jumper cables just in case.

Seen this alot, more times than not it turns out to be a corroded or loose terminal connection. Check that the ground and positive wires are in good shape and tight.

I agree.............While at the stealer, have them check your charging system.
