Went to the dealer to get some info. He gave me a photocopy of the pamphlet from Ford made for the sales guys. It has me rethinking one of these. Per the pamphlet it requires special CJ-4 oil, only ultra low sulfer fuel, and no bio-diesel above 5% content. Also there is a particulate filter on the exhaust, kind of like a catalytic converter for diesels. With all this it sounds like a lot of money to repair and maintain this one.

 

It seems like they are trying to make a mercedes of a truck. Aren't trucks just supposed to be big loud and take a beating.

 

We did an install last week on an 05 F350 with a rubber floor. I didnt know you could still get them that way. lol

 

the 08 also have a flash counter in the ecu..So if you get a tuner and flash it it knows how many times..So they void your warranty if you have trouble>
