Default 2006 keyless entry issues
Hey all, my keyless entry stopped working, is there a way to reset the factory code or program in a new code? What causes it to stop working?

Welcome to the forum. Try a KAM reset. Disconnect the battery negative, turn on your lights, leave it like that for 5 mins. Turn lights back off, connect battery back up and see if it helps.

You should check for diagnostic codes. It might give you some diection.

On another vehicle the trucks battery was on its last legs and it simply didn't have enough juice to unlock the doors using the keyfob....
It could also be your keyfob battery failing.
