Default 2005 f150 break down

Hello, I have a 2005 f150. on my way to work, it just quit. when I got it back home I thought it wasn't getting fuel, I replaced the fuel filter and cracked it over with the fuel line disconnected and no fuel came out. a few days prior to this it was setting in the driveway warming up and I thought I smelled a burnt wire. would this be a fuel pump? or the fuel pump starter mounted behind the spare tire? is there a way to trouble shoot the problem to find out for sure? I should also mention it wont start now but tried to once or twice after the break down.

It might be the Fuel Pump Driver Module, located above the spare tire. Look for corrosion or cracks.

Watch out for trolling Joe, he'll tell you to post elsewhere, but he is useless. Does it smell in the cab? The FPDM is under the spare tire. Any fuses blown? I'd look at the wiring in the door channels for obvious issues.

Fuel driver module mounted under the frame. Aluminum module on a steel frame. Bet its corroded all to hell. They will leave you stranded without warning.
