I am needing to replace the struts on my ‘05 4x4 but don’t know which are best and which will work with the leveling kit it has on it. Any suggestions?

What kind of leveling kit do you have on? If you have a spacer and you just need struts, you could always just take out the spacer and put on bilstein 5100 struts to level it out.

I too will be needing new struts. Are the 5100's just an easy swap? Or is there more to it?

I don’t know what kind of kit it is, I bought it with it already on. I will have to look into how to tell. Thanks

Look on top of the coil overs and see if it looks like there’s a circular metal spacer. If there is. You could take that out while putting the bilsteins on at the highest level so you could keep the truck level.

The 5100s don’t require any drilling, just taking out the original struts and putting the new ones in. There’s lots of YouTube videos on how to do it. If you want to do it yourself you’ll need to use a spring compressor which is dangerous if you don’t do it right.
