I own a 2004 f150 supercrew 4x4 I'm wondering I anyone one else has had issues with it. It makes my truck sound like a diesel I have had no problems mechanically with it just want to get it running right any tips would help

 

It has 171000 kms and I bought it at 100000 always done it as long as I can remember

Any idea what that's gonna run me to fix?

 

i would guess the sensor is 50ish.

Talked to a dealership today when I took it in for a tune up they want 3000 for new vct anyone got a site they use to order parts?

 

3g for the VCT sensor/solenoid?? you ****tin me?

 

Nope not a word of it I told them don't even touch it I'll find somewhere for cheaper. Do u think it's important to get em out ASAP?
