2003 F150 Fx4 problems. Please help!!!

2003 F150 Fx4 problems. Please help!!!
Greetings, I'm new to the forums and I will greatly appreciate any help!
To the point: I recently bought this F150 2003 5.4 T 4x4, and I noticed I had a problem with the windows/wipers not wanting to work till I messed with the gears/brakes. That lasted for about 2 weeks. Now a few days ago, I was leaving and noticed after I started the truck, I would hear this loud grinding noise, then whining down noise. After stalling it...etc I could actually turn the key backwards and the starter would crank. And if I turned the key over to *RUN* sometimes the starter would ALSO crank/grind without engaging the motor.
NOW after buying the truck and all, I called up the second owner, and he told me that he had AC problems, that the AC wouldn't shut off, so he took it to a mech fixed the ac problem for about a month, and after that it started acting up with the lights not wanting to turn off. Now i'm stuck with the windows and starter.
