Default 2002 F150 factory hitch install

Hey guys this is my first post and I tried the search but could not find anything. I have a 2002 F150 SuperCrew that did not have a factory hitch installed. My question is can I install a factory hitch on my truck. I know on the newer trucks this is a problem because of the way they are attached to the bumper but since I just picked up a used factory hitch for mine I am hoping I will be able to install it since it is older.

I put an aftermarket on my 2010 no problem, much cheaper and very easy with two people, factory hitch should be a class IV and that should be about $200 aftermarket, you should have no problem on yours either...

But yes, if you buy a factory one you should be able to install it yourself, two people makes it a lot easier though, either choice only requires basic hand tools...

Thanks for the reply! I know aftermarkets are fairly simple I was just a little concerned the factory one would be an issue like they are on the 2004-2008.
