Default 2002 5.4 improvement

I have a 2002 5.4 litre 4x4. I got the right tires and a split rear exhaust.
I wanna know how i can get the best performance, but i want it to be more stable when i'm really moving. Anyone have some advice?

Also, i painted my wheels black. the truck is white. I want to make all the chrome black too, bumpers, grill. Can anyone tell me the best way to do that? Thanks

Plasti-dip would be relatively inexpensive and reversible if it didnt turn out well. Just search it on the forum.

How much money do you have? I have had my truck lowered, it needs a lot more work still, I have about $4500 tied up in lowering so far and I still need some more work, like strut bars, perhaps a complete rear end redo. I am after car like handling and I'm not there yet. Still have a little bit of roll and twist to it, and it still jounces on stutter bumps. I eliminated about 50% of the jounces, but far from perfect. So far I have installed a bell tech 3/5 drop kit, balanced drive line, so many different shock setups that I can't remember what's in there, custom shock brackets to improve the function of the absorber. All this work has been done by a mechanics shop that works on muscle cars for drag racing and other track cars like porches and M3s. I really want to track my truck and next summer and it should be good. I have 5 solid days in labor on the rear end alone.

So my advice, is find a good shop that understands suspension set ups first, then drop off a bag of cash and have a second vehicle to drive. It needs a lot of testing and talent to do it right.
