I apologize if this is a repeat post, but I have been through so many on this forum and as much as they have helped I’m am having an issue that I didn’t run across and hoping someone can get me back on track, my problem is the notorious master control drivers door window controller, it’s a 2001 f150 lariat 4x4 with the triton v8, I just acquired the truck and when I got it the drivers window wouldn’t work at all, all the other windows, mirrors and door locks worked properly, so I replaced the regulator and motor and no change, I replaced the switch no change, I learned in here about the GEM module and this is where I got lost, I bypassed the GeM module by cutting the tan/light blue wire with the red going to motor, and tested the window, I moved it up and it worked, I tried down and nothing, then I tried the passenger window and it didn’t move, however when I press up on the passenger window switch (still from master control panel) the drivers window goes down, so essentially I can control the drivers window but passenger window won’t move at all, obviously I need to figure out how to get them both working correctly, plus I’m concerned what else I might have changed and not figured out yet by doing that
any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance
