I'm a little stumped.

My 2000 F150 5.4 4x4 with 202,000 miles (and had been running great) is throwing ODB code P0302, missfire on Cyl #2.

It's thrown misfire codes 2 times before on different cyl's, but I've always been able to fix by either changing the plug and/or coil and problem went away.

Engine stumbles under acceleration, and shows error code P0302.
Occasionally the Check Engine light will flash for a few seconds then go off.

1st thing I did was changed out all the plugs (with Motocraft plugs) on the drivers side with correct gap setting, and re-greased with dielectric spark plug boot grease. Still got P0302. Plug did not seem to be fouled real bad.

2nd thing was to replace #2 coil, with another new Motocraft plug with correct gap setting. Still got P0302.

3rd thing I ran 2 bottles of Gumout Fuel Injector cleaner, with fresh tank of gas (no ethanol)

4th thing I did was replaced #2 Fuel Injector with new o-rings and cleaned the terminals on the plug connector to make sure clean. Still got P0302.

5th thing was to spray clean the Air Sensor in the air cleaner, Still got P0302.

6th thing was I did was replace fuel filter. Still getting P0302 with still Engine stumbling under acceleration.

Engine doesn't use oil or smoke. No leaks. Has been the best lowest maintenance truck I've ever had till now, other than tires and brakes.

Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
