Default 2 Way Remote Starter

Does Ford offer a 2 way and a 1 way remote starter?. For the guys that have factory starters installed, what are you looking at for consistant range for starting.
Thanks

Just a 1 way remote starter. I would go aftermarket if I were you. For the same price you can get many more advantages of an aftermarket piece.

ford 2way is a remote start only, it beeps and flashes when its started ..the kit only comes with one remote. if you want factory remote start i think the best would be the alarm remote start .then you dont need to use your factory remotes. the 6 button remote will arm and diarm from the key pad and you can controll memory seats. and on some trucks you can turn on heated seats and controll many more things there are 4 out put wires. that kit comes with 2 remotes and your factor remotes still work.and thay have a 1 button remote start that you get 2 remotes.

when i got my screw 3 months ago i told them it had to have remote start. The cheapest one they had to put on was a two way system.

Ford offers a one button remote start with 2 remotes
and a 3 button remote start with 2 remotes... it can be set with or without your factory remote. I've been installing them for years... they are made by code alarm and are a quality unit, never have any problems with them..

what kind of range are they and also as a two way, how do they let you know if the truck has started and is running. Alot of the two way aftermarket ones have a screen.

Im guessing it will probably be almost the same as my 2way aftermarket remote. It lights up green when I push the button, and then goes blank for a sec. Then blinks green if its started, and red if it didnt

Thanks

I have the Astroflex, cant remember what model though. I got it used from a service advisor at a dealership. Came with one oneway and one two way remote. Just has lock, unlock and start buttons. I have always liked astroflex. My buddies dad used to install them for a living, and swore by them. And at the dealership I work at, thats all we put in.

appreciate it cole. I think I am leaning toward the Astroflex 2 way. It is a little more money than a command or auto start by quality seems better.
Thanks
