2.7 Ecoboost
I have the 2015 3.5 only put 2500 mi on it at this point, over all avg is 16.5 good mix of hwy and city. Last 2 fill ups i used no ethanol and avg 17 on both tanks. Not sure if it's the "break in" or gas. Mpg can be low when getting up to speed and when boost are going but once going can keep it at or above 20 mpg unless climbing grades.
I would assume 2.7 would do really better. Especially in city stop and go considering the engine shut down feature.
Hope the info is useful.

I have a 2.7 with just under 1k on it. (It'll have over 1k tonight after I drive to work)
Last tank was 19.1mpg. This tank will be lower due to using four wheel drive in the snow... but for what it's worth, the trip computer averages 20-22mpg on my 240 mile drive to and from work. (I reset the average at the beginning of the drive). I expect it will improve as the engine breaks in a bit more and as the weather warms up/summer gas is available.
Loving the HP/Torque. It will get up and go! BUT, the more you use the turbos, the more it sucks gas.
Everyone that has ridden in it or driven it doesn't believe it's a little v6. From a stop, if you step on it a bit too hard, you will have a hard time keeping the back end from breaking loose.
Forgot to add, we have a supercrew xlt/fx4.

Thanks for the reply guys! Looking at getting a Lariot supercab with the 2.7 and loaded with most options. I currently own a 2004, that I ordered new, with 2x4 and limited slip. I have never gotten stuck but close, here in northern Illinois, but this time I will order 4x4 with limited slip. Retired and getting too old to worry about this damn snow.

What is a "screw" (I know I have a one loose but have never heard this used in the truck line!) And is this available in a Supercab?
I have a new brochure and will try to find it.....

vanwas, I realize the engine shuts down when you come to a stop, but how long do you have to stop before this happens, how do you get it restarted and do you have any regrets on any options you may have purchased?
