Hey, I was the barber in the tornado in Aumsville,Oregon. My truck got scratched up to the need of minor body work and a complete paint job. The insurance adjustor wants to total it!! Says the truck isn't worth $ 4,000. Does anyone know where and how I can prove him wrong? I just joined this forum, but will have a profile soon with pictures of my baby!

 

you could check ebay for similar trucks and see what theyre selling for.

 

Insurance companies go by the loan value as valuation, not stated value. The best thing to do it call up your bank and ask a loan officer to look it up for you. I my area a 1995 F150 Flareside goes for between 2500 and 3000 dollars depending on if it is 4X4, 4X2, miles, options etc.
