Default 1985 Ford

i have the chance to buy a 1985 f-150 short box stepside. its 2wd and the only rust is in the cab corners. All it needs is a battery to run. Whats it worth? Any thoughts?

If somebody is too cheap/lazy to put a battery in a vehicle I cant imagine what else they neglected on that vehicle.

I always wonder why people do that, why not just trade the old truck in when you get a new one? They would have given him $500 or something just to take it off his hands - why hold on to it and let it rust into oblivion?
