Well, Old Bessie and I took a trip to Jacksonville yesterday, to drop somebody off there. 101 mile trip one way. Truck did well. 5.8 got 15.8 MPG. I find that odd though, since it gets about 14.5 in town. I really expected the highway mileage to be better than that. Oh well. The city mileage isn't bad at all for the size engine she has.

Gave the truck a good Spring cleaning inside and out, and rotated the tires.

Loaded the Jeep on the trailer and towed it home from Jeep Beach in Daytona. 10.2 mpg avg headed there in road construction and crappy winds at 60 and 70 mph. 12.5 mpg on way back without winds but still road construction. Same speeds. And I hit 18k miles.

Now its time to wash the damn love bugs off.

Having grown up in Florida I can definitely say those love bugs are something I don't miss at all. I hate when you have a clean vehicle and see the swarm in the distance where you are heading. Filthy in an instant and a pain to get off.

Idk yet my dad just texted me that that's what the guy said. I have to wait till lunch till I can call. How much do u think a rear end would be?.. I have a 2006 f150 xlt 4x2 5.5 foot bed. 4 doors. All stock. I have to have a limited slip. Idk anything about my gear ratio. I think it's a 3.55 or a 3.73
