^^^I tried those and returned them......a great halogen is Phillips Crystal Vision Ultra. I have them on my truck and the last 3 cars/van I have owned. Never had on burn out either.

I'm getting tired of not really doing anything special/fun with my truck ... mostly cuz I've been so busy with work, but also because I have one of those "driving style trackers" in my truck right now so that I can get some "good driver discounts" from my car insurance company. I have to have it in there for 90 days, and am about 2 months in. So the entire time this thing is in my truck, I can't really go "play" ... it tracks every trip I take (total miles driven) ... hard braking, rapid acceleration, and driving between midnight and 4am.
It's cool though ... so far, I've only had 4 hard braking events, and 1 rapid acceleration event ... and it's telling me that at this rate I'm gonna get a 20-22% discount... so that makes it worth it to be driving like a feather-foot for 3 months LOL.

Put in AEM drop in air filter. It is a dry version.
It's not night and day but it idles better and revs quicker and makes a tad but more sound.

It's not attached to our insurance, it's more for piece of mind.

not a bad idea for tracking your children ... but I'm doing it specifically for getting this discount. They say you can get up to a 30% discount, but from what I can tell, you'd have to NEVER drive between midnight and 4am, have no rapid acceleration, no hard braking, and drive a decent amount of miles, but not TOOOOOO much either (to show you drive enough to be proven safe, but not so much that you're a risk because you're constantly on the road, creating more chances for something to happen).

I took delivery of my new F150 this morning. This afternoon Chico, Amiga, Trixie and I went for a ride to Polecat Bench to one of our favorite hiking areas. Great way to break in "the dog's new truck!"
