I have a 2008 xlt with the standard chrome bumper. I have been wanting fog lights for some time. I was wondering if it's possible to buy the bumper with fog light holes and mounts and have it fit on my truck with no problems... Also I was wondering if this is possible, where could I purchase the bumper

Just get a bumper from 06+ and it'll bolt right in. You'll need to check for the wires, and buy the headlight switch, unless you want to install a separate switch.

Check around at your junkyards. Tasca is all new parts but a junkyard should have at least some of the parts around.

 

I did this with my '04. Replaced it with an '05 bumper and bought the fog light assemblies. As far as the headlight switch, I just used a relay and tapped into my headlight circuit. Yes the fogs are on all of the time when the HL's are on ... but thats ok with me.
