after plug change truck keeps throwing 4 and 5 cylinder misfires and runs like ****

what brand plugs ? did you replace boots and springs ? did you torque plugs ? what motor do you have ? mileage ?

did not torque the plugs autolite ht 15 5.4L 3v 06 f150 and there's 198344 miles it had a cracked exhaust manifold for for about 6 months fixed that when I did plugs

Hit or miss on the autolite plugs...
25 ft/lbs for torque.
Probably time to change the ignition coil boots and springs (or the entire pack, your choice).
You can swap out the ignition coils on the misfiring cylinders with known good coils to see if the code follows

still waiting to hear what the spark plug gap is.

When you say the exhaust manifold was cracked and you fixed it; what did you mean by fix it? Replace? how did you fix?
