Default 06 f150

My 150 has the 5.4 in it. It started missing a few days ago when starting up hills. I've read up on it and gotten different things. I've read it might be the fuel filer or the coil packs. How do I figure out which it is? It isn't setting off any check engine lights on the dash. I have seen if it's thrown any codes yet

Coil packs would be a good guess. On my `04 Taurus the same thing would happen when I would lug the engine up hill. We replaced the coil packs & all was good. Also, "I" would recommend using only Ford OEM coil packs. YMMV

More likely plugs then the coil packs though, do them first. Use OEM SP515.

The coil packs rarely go bad, just get new boots and springs for your coil packs when you do your plugs. You'll save a ton of money too.
