My dads inline for buying a f-350 king ranch lariat Fx4(yep, that's what the badges say and yes they're from the factory) diesel supercrew with the 6.0. It has 140,000 miles on it and he can buy the truck for 6k. Would you buy this truck? I've heard multiple horror stories about the 6.0 but this one is currently running fine. The original owner is a very close friend so we know he's not trying to rip us off. He's just getting rid of it to make way for a newer truck.

 

get it, throw all the bullet proof stuff on it, and never look back. especially since you know its been well maintained.

 

I wouldn't buy a 6.0 without a CTS, so you can check out all of the pertanents....
