The buttons light up but the display don't... Any help is appreciated

 

i seen a thread on here for the f150 haveing a resitor issue and being able to solder back together the last one i ran into on a super duty i had to replace the led assembly

 

How do I get the plastic piece off off to see if there's a loose resister? Do you know what the led costs?

 

the plastic trim panel will either have a screw up by the windshield or it will have one in the sunglass holder if it has the sunglass holder then just pull done after screw removale and it should pop off it has clips that hold it to the roof.. i know on the f150 you have to take the led dissplay apart to get in and look at the circuit board im not sure how much a new one is im thinking they are like 2-300 for it from ford you might be able to get one at a salvage yard once you get it apart i'd check for power and ground to it the power wire is light blue w a pink tracer and the ground wire is pink w a orange tracer
