Do you really want to load and unload stuff from that though lol. If I was looking for a diesel work truck I'd want something basically stock. What's the point of a lift and 37's and all when it's main purpose is to MAKE you money instead of just cost it with expensive *** tires and worse MPG and more maintenance with wheel bearings and ball joints going bad more often and all. I'd just do up the 150 to cruise or whatever in and use the 250 for makin money. Unless like someone said you only want the one vehicle, but either way loading up a big *** truck on 40s every day for work would be a PITA.

+1

Why would you even look at a truck with 37's for a work truck? Doesn't make any sense unless you need to do some serious off roading on a daily basis...but for a lawn care business i think not. Even contruction, no way you need 37s to get into a work site.

My uncle with either 33's or 35's gets about 19-20, granted he has some work done to it, tuner, injectors, exhaust etc..

he could have a trailer he needs pulled around and rarely uses the bed of the truck. id go with the 7.3 over the 6.0.

not sure what the point is of having a bigass lifted diesel rig. you gain zero functionality, practicality, or economy from converting from a gas truck.

have fun with that 6.leaker. after you put a couple thou into headstuds, emissions deletes, fixing flaws from the factory they are OK. still gutless though.

if you get one keep your oil damn clean with the HPOP, and run some sort of additional filtration to keep particles getting past the ****ty factory filters. my $.02

Just a diesel hater, I know many diesels with way more power and speed than your f150, lifted with better gas mileage.

haha this is funny. i don't drive a f150. i drive a chevy 2500 duramax. but it's stock height so it can still do work as opposed to a bigass lifted rig. I have very little money into it, but with a good driver it would run 13's as it sits.

i simply don't understand the big lifted diesel thing people get. If that's you then more power to you, whatever makes you happy.

but I like getting good mileage, being able to tow 10,000 trailers without the truck looking like a stinkbug with the nose way up in the air, and not needing a stepladder to get in and out, and being able to afford food after buying tires

not a diesel hater, anyone who knows me will tell you the crap is in my blood. i just think massive lifted rigs is for gas trucks.

I personally love the lifted diesels because I don't tow very much, but I can lift my truck an still get decent gas mileage. Instead of lifting my truck, and getting 11 mpg. But I do agree for like off tossing and mud trucks, gas are better. I personally want a diesel for my dd.

Oh I agree, a diesel on the same size tires and rims compared to a gasser will get better mileage.
For some reason I thought you were talking about making it a mud truck.
If you don't tow a whole lot and want to DD it I agree it is a good option. DD'ing a diesel is just fun. and they look badass compared to a 1/2 ton when lifted right
