news or rumors about SD Diesel with 10spd?
Hi all, I'm looking at getting into a F250 and I've been looking around to see if/when Ford is planning to roll out the 10spd in the SD now that it's out for the F150s. Has there been any rumors as to when they might do this?

I'm sure it is, I am looking to buy in the next year and if they plan to put it in soon I'll wait, I just wanted to see if anyone has heard any rumblings.

The 6 speed tranny works great in my truck so far...engine pulls hard with my 14K pound trailer and I let the tranny do the rest. Got a best of 17.8 mpg running at 55-60 mph yesterday which is great for a 8K pound truck. About the same as my '13 F-150 Ecoboost did. Towing I get 10.4 mpg at 62 mph.

If I tell you the EB is coming to the SD, will you believe it?

Hi, yes; Rumor has it by 2020 model year Super Dutys will have their own Ecoboost engine. It's said to be a twin turbo charged 7.0 L V-12. It will be like two 3.5 L Ecoboost engines in one block. Many parts will be the same such as pistons, rods, and valve train. Estimated HP will be 800 and torque will be around 1000 lbs. This will give the Diesel a run for it's money, so to speak.
