Yes, hiding in plain sight.

If they threw in a 5.0 ecoboost in the superduty I would move up to a f350. I can't justify moving up to a heavier truck with less power than I have with my tuned ecoboost. Reading the forum here, the HDPP f150 is close f250 payload.

HDPP is better than diesel F250 payloads but not quite as good as the 6.2.

I think they need a better gas motor in the 3/4 ton. The diesels kill the payload and they are WAY overkill for anything you can even tow with a 3/4 ton. A 7.3 may just be what they need. Use the tech from the 5.0, just bigger and they shouldnt have to much issue making 500 hp and 600 ft-lbs+ but be lighter that the diesels. That would pull anything up to 15000 lbs that the 3/4 tons seem to be rated at seeing as a 365hp/420tq ecoboost does just fine up to 12k plus.

A 5.0 Ecoboost would be sweet though.

I'm excited to see what Ford comes up with. I'd really like to see a gasser with more torque at the lower RPMs than the current 6.2L. Maybe with cylinder deactivation, roller rockers and all the other tricks the 7.3L gas won't be a gas hog. I'd also like to see a 4.5 to 5.0 forced induction gas engine in the line up that is built for low RPM torque. Not sure the Coyote was really designed for low RPM torque. (don't get me wrong, love the 5.0 Coyote. Had one in my mustang and it was a blast!)

5.0 Ecoboost would not fit the the E series (think motor homes), the 7.3L will. It is smaller externally than the 5.0.

5.0 EB would be sweet! The new 7.3 Should be a torque engine though.

Keep in mind, this is a North America list, not a US list. The little diesels could be Mexico only.
