I hear the number $5000 to bulletproof the 6.0. I'm curious where this number came from? I'm assuming its a shop quote because after some reseach, the numbers I'm seeing, I could buy all the parts and do it myself for under $2500. And that includes buying a better torque wrench...

That's what I figured it was with the shop hours for labor. Then parts. Parts alone in 700$

They sell the kit in diesel power mag and it's about $2000 for everything u need

MKM diesel sells the entire kit for $1500... head r&r isn't a complicated job, long afternoon kinda thing. I have no idea about doing an egr delete though, never done one

Ya but my cousin figured out that u can cut the fire wall and pull the heads without taking the cab off
