I need to upgrade to a 250 from my 2010 XLT for towing and for work. I have a few questions and was hoping someone has a similar truck to what I'm looking for. The local dealers don't stock my ideal truck so I haven't been able to see it.

1. Does anyone have a F250 XLT with auto climate control?

2. Does anyone have a Lariat with the 40/20/40 front seat vs the console?

Yes, but not in my truck. Others do have it though. Mine is the standard, manual temp and fan speed HVAC system.

My truck is an XLT and has the 40/20/40...Not sure if it's available for the Lariat. I like the versatility that having an extra seat when needed. 99% of the time, the "20" is folded down and gives me 2 extra cupholders (already have 2 in the dash), an armrest and a storage compartment. In the case of needing an extra seat, it folds up easy to allow for 6 people total in the cab.

Not ever having a center console, I'm not sure what I'm missing. When shopping for both my F150 and F250 XLT's, the salespeople were perplexed as to why I sought 40/20/40 as opposed the center console. At the time (and to this day) seating for 6 was a higher priority than 4 permanent cupholders and a floor shifter.

 

1. I’m not sure about auto climate control but dual climate controls seems to be Lariat and above.

2. You can equip a Lariat with a bench seat.

 

XLT only comes with manual climate control - you need a lariat or higher for auto.
