i have a 1988 F250 w/ the 7.3 idi diesel.would anyone have or know where to locate a wiring schematic for the glowplug timer.i dont know if the guy who i got it from wired something incorrectly and wanted to see which wires go where to ensure its wired properly.

 

I've got one but i cant figure out how to transfer the diagram from the program to the internet. Let me see if I can figure it out.

 

hey guys...i hate to promote a forum on this forum... but i have a f250 7.3 non powerstroke and i use the thedieselstop.com ... that forum is loaded with info and alot of good guys..they have helped me out alot... alot of guys on that forum wired there glow plugs up on a toggle switch... and when i get the time i believe that is what im going to do

 

i appreciate the info and the website link.i will definitely check it out.i found the timer is no good after a bunch of voltage and continuity tests.put a new filter on and fresh diesel in the tank.primed the fuel system and bled the injectors.jumped out the glowplugs for 15 secs and the truck fired right up.one of the best 700 dollar investments and all i put out was 50 bucks for parts and diesel fuel.
