Exclamation Best Diesel in Excursion?

My dad wants to convert a diesel Excursion to a veggie burner. What would be the best engine for that? and....Discuss.! thanks guys

all of them have options to do that, just gotta upgrade lines, fuel pump, get the equipment for the oil to be cleaner, and money for your stomach, rollin around with the windows down smelling food will make you hungry

you get just as much power off oil as you do diesel, so 6.0 obviously

6.0 as long as all the bugs are worked out.

7.3 if you do not care about being quiet but want reliabilty.

My old mans got a 7.3 and he's in the process of vegetizing it. Its a great motor, we've towed 14000 lb's 1000 miles 2 ways every summer with it since 99 and it hasnt complained once.

Actually isn't that an old DODGE saying that is "I'd rather be Cummin' than Strokin"?

I could be wrong but I have only seen that on Ram CTD's.
