I have yet to see any "company" vehicle driven for mileage.

Lol, very true. The GPS system we have are crazy in an attempt to keep MPG under "control". It ranks every employees driving habits, IE...... acceleration, deceleration, idle times, MPG, knows the speed limit and automatically sends emails to management if you are over. Basically don't be that guy at the top

Honestly in your case I'd go with the F-150. Yeah the SD is nice to have because it's more capable of pulling and hauling, but a 150 should do the job just fine, they are more comfortable to ride in and get slightly better MPG.

As for the mirrors, don't let tow mirrors be a deciding factor as they are easy to swap out and would only cost you like $200. I put a set of 2017 tow mirrors on my '06 and it costed me $250 for the mirrors and took maybe 30 mins to install.

Depends on the tow mirrors. Thought I would swap mine out too. The tow mirrors needed for my truck are $1200. I won't make that mistake again.

Price any aftermarket and OEM parts before just saying "I will add them later". JMO

I'm looking at this package...what was selling price vs MSRP? Thanks.

That package with 4x4 and super crew and a flew adds like sync camera trailer brake and bed lighting should make me a good truck for years to come.

An F150 with Ecoboost is your best solution.

I just looked at a 2017 F-250 extended cab long bed XL with the 6.2 and holy chit that thing is a pig! I honestly didn't feel comfortably trying to pass someone who was doing 50 in a 60 zone (freeway) because the truck just didn't want to go at higher speeds. It did fine in low speed acceleration but man, higher speeds she just didn't want to go!

We have a 2017 extended cab long bed with the 6.2 where I work. I think it runs pretty good.

Having F-150's in the past I'd have to agree...the little 3.5 Ecoboost thinks its a diesel. The Ecoboost I had pulled a load better then the 5.0 I had even with the 5.0 having a 3.55 vs the Eco's 3.31. Eco had more low end torque and pulled up to 9K pounds easily.

How do you think a 2.7 or 3.5 Ecoboost would do towing 2500-3500lbs of lawn care equipment 5 days a week? Would the 2.7 get the job done and last me a while, or should I lean more towards the 3.5?
