2005 F350 Powerstroke Brake Bleeding Troubles
I was helping my friend today with his 2005 F350 powerstroke.
The right rear caliper failed and blew brake fluid everywhere. We changed it out with a used one and also changed the drivers side because the bleeder screw broke off.
We bled the brakes the normal 2 person way and the result was a very sponging pedal.
We consulted with a mechanic friend and he suggested the ABS module had air in it. We borrowed his scanner and selected the ABS module bleed procedure. The ABS module vibrated away and then we re-bled all 4 brakes like normal.
But the pedal is still very spongy.
The brakes were fine before the caliper blew out.
Any ideas? I think there must still be air in the system but we put 3 quarts of fluid through the system.
Is there more to the bleeding procedure?

Used Speed Bleeders when I put my cyro slotted on. I put speed bleeders on all my stuff when the time comes, super easy to use.
