Default Cold Weather Performance

OUCH! I just watch the YouTube video from Hoovies Garage regarding the Lightning range in cold weather. Sounds like it is a trend in Lightnings residing in northern climates. If so, I can't wait to see how Ford responds.

I haven't seen this in particular but EVs lose a significant amount of range in the cold

Yeah another issue is a lack of a heat pump for cabin temperatures, I'm sure that doesnt help when driving in the winter. Almost a guarantee that Ford adds one in for the next generation (or maybe even in a refresh).

Default 300 to 200 miles

In cold weather on average I'm losing about 1/3 of my range in my 2022 F150 Lightning from around 300 miles to around 200 miles of range. Previously, I have owned a 2017 Tesla Model 3 and a 2017 Model S and I would have estimated around 1/4 loss of range in both those vehicles. Roughly 300 miles of range to about 225 miles of range.
