Default BlueCruise availability

Hi all,

Thinking about upgrading my 2020 XLT to something that has ACC and figured I might as well make sure it has BlueCruise too. In my research I found a 2023 Lightning Lariat that is listed as having EQUIPMENT GROUP 510A. Nothing on the window sticker about BlueCruise but I understand that it may not have been available when this truck was released. Does anyone know if EQUIPMENT GROUP 510A would mean that it is BlueCuise capable and I would just have to sign up for the subscription?

Also, separate BlueCruise questions, does the use of BlueCruise require using the built in nav system or does it still work the same if you use CarPlay / Android Auto?

Final question, this vehicle was apparently a manufacturer buy back because of "Fault light/SYNC screen issues/frunk". Would this be a red flag? It still has just over a years factory warranty remaining.

I have a lightning platinum, However I did not subscribe to the blue cruise. I felt the $50 a month was on the high side also most of my driving is around town and blue cruise would not help for that.

I have a 24 XLT powerboost with 302A and it clearly states on the window stucker it has Blue Cruise. Like the post above the $50 monthly fee is to much. I do purchase it for 1 month when i know im going to travel.

Exactly that is my plan as well to purchase for a month when I do take a long trip. The adaptive cruise control (ACC) works without the Blue Cruise. It is an independent feature. You can use CarPlay of or the android equivalent with blue cruise. Personally, I never use the Nav builtin from ford or any of their connectivity apps (pandora , spotify). There is no need for them if you are using CarPlay. I just use Waze for navigation and play audio of my phone.
