I'm lookin at getting a zf trans for my 85 f150 with a 300-6. The local junk man told me I need an 84-86 trans that was bolted to a 351w to work. And I assume he told me that because of the external slave cylinder. If I'm wrong correct me. But he has one in the yard that come out of a later model. 90s actually. What would I need to do to get it to work right behind me truck if anybody knows. The help would be much appreciated.
