Default YF or YFA?

1982 F151, 300 4.9 6cyl.
I have a piece of garbage, chinese carburetor. I want to replace it but I don't know what was originally on it. I think it should be a Carter YF but am not sure. It has an electric choke.
Also, where can I buy one?
Thanks

Those were all YF1A Carter carbs with Motorcraft stampings IIRR
You should be able to find a few at the junkyard or the parts house for a reman one
I overhauled one recently for my neighbor. His truck was running so rich it would barely run at WOT
The power piston inside the float bowl is critical on those carbs and if the diaphragm leaks you get full rich
Good luck

Not sure on the interchange years
You could call a junkyard and have them check
I would think 1980-1984 maybe 82-86
