Is it worth it? '85 F150
Been looking at getting a second vehicle, a truck just for errands around town. Dump runs, home depot, taking the dog, etc. We now have a small Nissan Rogue. I miss my old fords. haha I use to own an '85 F350 6.9 diesel 4 speed and I miss that one terribly. Wish I kept it! Anyways I came across this and the owner seems very truthful. Looks like some work was done already. Has owned truck for 6 years I think? Something like 12k miles he put on himself. Just wondering what your thoughts are on this.Good deal? Or is there something sneaky going on. He is claiming only a battery and windshield would make it road worthy (as in Massachusetts inspection). obviously to make it perfect it would need alot more work. But just for errands I may leave as is or just slowly restore it. I'd appreciate any input!

Do you all watch Hoovie's Garage on youtube? He bought the "cheapest Raptor for sale in the US" and it turned out to be a former Border Patrol unit. He has really upgraded it in subsequent videos.

What does that have to do with the '85 F150 that this thread is about? Or with pre-'87 F150s that this forum is for?
