Default Newb wheel help please?

I just bought a 84 f150 4x4. I have a set of 315x70x17 wheels and tires I would like to put on it. Does anyone know if they will fit or do I need a lift? If so what type of lift and how much?

That would be tight i think. Thats a 35/12.50 i think. You need the wheels to have a shallower backspacing. Wider tires tend to rub on the radius arms on turns.

You can fit it with a 2" front spacer. Looks better with a overall 4" lift. If you want ot to set level you can do a 4" front 2" rear.

Not only will you need a lift ...you will need the proper offset on the wheels too .. those tires are 13..3 wide
