Default weird electrical issue

Hey guys I've got an 86 f150 with a weird problem. Was riding home and the instrument lights and running lights quit working. Checked fuse for dash lights and it was popped so I replaced it and got nothing. Any ideas??

Sometimes a bulb can fail in such a way that the filament shorts out inside the bulb and makes the fuse blow. Have a close look at and/or test each bulb.

Well after going through a lotta posts I found a forum and found the problem. It ended up being the dimmer wire for the radio that was shorting out. Thanks guys for the help
