Hello all, my vent window handle has broken straight off the window retainer. This happened about a year ago and I am finally getting tired enough of hearing the whistling sound because it won't close tight. I have no idea how to fix it. The handle actually has the piece of the window retainer jammed in it.
I am thinking the window has to come out and put a new rivet into the window retainer for the handle then put the window back on the retainer? Or do I have to get a new retainer?

Thanks Roger, I see that in the catalog. The rivet repair kit is a lot cheaper than buying the vent window frame. So, how that works is I take the vent window out but not the frame, then repair the rivet. Then put the vent window back in , and put the vent handle back on the repaired rivet? I have never done this so I am trying to figure it out the process.
