Default vaccuum silonoids?

went through all 36 pages and didn't find what i was huntin...passenger side fenderwell there's 4 silonoid looking things, each has 2 vaccuum lines coming off them, each has an electrical plug topside, 2 to 3 wires on each...what the h@$$ are these and what do they do...found 3 wires burnt right at the plug...truck was idling real ruff when it would run and it would only run for about 10 min. or so before i'd have to pull the spark plugs out, wire brush them and reinstall, appeared to be getting way to much fuel...fixxed the burnt wires and she ran perfect for about 5 min or so, then i heard one of the solinoids clicking, then it shut down, and can't get it restarted...pulled all the plugs on top, inspected, and plugged them back in...was thinking maybe a bad ground somewhere maybe? went to the bone yard, no luck, went to autozone, kids behind the counter didn't have a clue...thanx...

Default follow up...

sheez fixed, almost...we had no power to the eec system...that turned out to be a bad relay located under the dash...inspected and cleaned all the grounds we could find...she runs good now...except in the a.m...won't start first thing the morning...after it warms up a bit she starts and runs good all day...
