Default trying to get my 85 back on the road

I have an 85 F150 shortbed 4wd. It came with a slip yoke NP 208 transfer case. That transfer case is shot, and I am trying to get a fixed yoke style to work. Can anyone tell me what length rear drive shaft I would need to get and where I could find it?

Thanks!

Best we could do is a guess. You would have to get it all together and measure to order one or trial and error cut and fit.

I wouldnt put a non slip shaft on that truck. First time you put a load on it and hit a bump you take the chsnce of screwing up alot of stuff. Plus a slip shaft takes alotnof abuse and ever helps smoothen the ride. How ever if you dead set on a solid shaft. You need to measure from yoke to yoke from where the u-joint cap bolts the the other yoke where the cap bokts down then.... check and measure drive shaft afterbdrive shaft. Or have one made and balanced. I know the local shop here would suggest a slip shaft.

I was trying to go with the slip shaft/fixed yoke combo. I just cant get a shaft thats not too short or long one or the other. Did ford make a short bed with a fixed yoke t case? Would a bronco rear shaft work?
